In the last few years cupcakes have emerged as a big thing.  The good thing about cupcakes is that they can add fun and character to any event and they taste great too. This blog post is all about Ki-Ki’s Cupcakes. They are a fantastic little cupcake company based in Bromley. This company is very close to my heart I was one of their very first customer and helped then launched their company. I ordered 50 cupcakes for my wedding {which was not enough as they were gone in seconds I didn’t even get one}. Since then they have gone from strength to strength and have now branched from cupcake to cake pops and giant cupcakes and I have been told there are other ideas in the pipeline too.

So below are the pictures taken during the wedding service. These pictures are quite new to me as most of the time I was at the front of the church with my back to everyone so I am really pleased with the picture Marius took in the church.

However I actually felt very relaxed from the time I woke up, which I was not expecting. I thought that on my wedding day I would be a nervous wreck worrying about everything but I only made a few calls to my mother who was setting up the venue.

I really did not want to be late to the church but after we had finished with all the pictures it was already 2pm {which was the time the wedding was meant to start}. I still did not stress as the wedding could not start without me. In the end I think I may have been about 20 minutes late to my own wedding.

Anyway here are the pictures taken at my home and just outside the church.

So there you have it the first lot of my wedding pictures. I love the pictures of my flower girls especially of my niece Terina because all day she was so excited about being in a pretty dress {in fact when she had to take it off to go to bed she started to cry}. You can just see the excitement in her face in most of the pictures. My youngest niece and flower girl Kianna fell asleep before the wedding even started and in the last picture here you can see her dad carrying her into the church. He put a ring on it

Well it’s finally happened 2 weeks ago I married my best friend and soul mate. The day was wonderful and the honeymoon was amazing. I can’t believe that I’ve been planning this wedding for a year and a half. Over the next few weeks I will be blogging about my big day, sharing photo’s both professional and by our guest too.

So to celebrate my single reign coming to an end me and my gaggle of hens headed to the nations thrill capital, Thorpe Park. We had absolute fantastic times and there were a few other girls on hens that day too. Also after months of rainy weather the sun decided to shine for me on that day.

The celebrations did not end when the parked closed as in the evening we headed to a club and danced the night away, although I have to admit that by about 12:45 me and my sisters admitted defeat heading home and leaving the remaining hens dancing on my behalf.

All in all I must say that I had a very good send of and I can’t believe that this time next week I’ll be a married woman and on my way to my honeymoon. So let one of the busiest week of my life commence

So with just under 2 weeks to go to the wedding I thought I’d give a quick update on how things are going. Below are the list of things that need to be done at least 4 weeks before the wedding {so technically I should really have done them all}

• Create song list requests {we’ve picked an entrance song and that is about it}
• Finish all DIY projects {almost done just waiting for a few things to come in the post to add the finishing touches}
• Begin to design thank you card ready to send out after the honeymoon {oh yeah I forgot about those}
• Choose your wedding day perfume {not had time to think about a good scent}
• Confirm timings with the venue – including deliveries and wedding day schedule
• Get bridal underwear {the ones I like are out of stock in my size}
• Lose 6lbs {this is never going to happen}
• Finalise seating plan and provide venue and caterers with a copy {done half of this just need to send a rough copy to the venue}
• Create place cards and table plan {so glad this is done but I have to make one more for a late addition}
• Make favours and any other table decorations {favours are finished but my future MIL has offered to lighten my load by add charms t each one, something I was only going to do if I had the time}
• Provide caterers with final numbers including details of special dietary requirements {done this}
• Provide the photographer with a list of essential shots {kind of done this but I just sent him a generic list I need to do one that is more personal to us. On the plus side he is doing a pre wedding shoot the Thursday before the wedding, so more pictures yay}
• Arrange to make any outstanding payments required in advance {everything is paid for. We don’t owe money to anyone, actually scratch that the makeup artist and hairdresser need to be paid for and the church are providing us order of services at a small cost. But the church, venue, caterer, transport and florist have all been paid in full}
• Start to wear your wedding shoes around the house {need to do this soon}
• Start packing for your honeymoon {I’m surprised I haven’t really done this. I have bought so many new clothes for the honeymoon and right now they are in a paper Primark bag in my room. I will probably start to pack on Friday or Sunday}

So there we go a very quick update on what I have done and what still needs to be done. I’m still not stressing or panicking but I’m not sure when I’m going to find the time to fit it all in. On top of all this I need to box up all the crap I have accumulated over the past 12 years as I will be moving out my parents’ house once we get back. Where we are moving to only God knows. But that is a story for a different day.
